Mini Art Vending Machine!
What started as a fun side project, thanks to The Harpswell Collective, became so much more.
I started creating mini art as a fun creative process, but once I decided to share it with others, it took on a life of its own. I had the idea to paint 300 mini oyster artworks in 25 days leading up to the Maine Oyster Festival and then gave these little artworks away for free during the festival at my booth. I had so much fun doing this, I didn’t want to stop!
That is where Liz from The Harpswell Collective comes into the story, she had a vending machine and wanted me to fill it with my art! Obviously, I said yes and have been painting little oysters and more ever since to keep it filled up.
Now, thanks to the generosity of a new art gallery in Harpswell, my art has a home in a mini art vending machine.
Making this art has brought me so much joy, but even better has been seeing collectors of all ages have fun interacting with this vending machine!
You can get mini original artworks from the machine along with art prints - all created by me, Avery, the artist behind New Meadow Designs.
The vending machine lives at The Harpswell Collective, but sometimes comes with me to markets throughout the year. If you want to stay in the know, follow along on social media or sign up for my newsletter for updates on the machines' whereabouts.
Can’t wait for you to join the mini art collecting club - once you start, it’s hard to stop collecting these little joy-filled artworks!
